YouTube - Mukhtar Gusengadzhiev
As far as I’m concerned, all male contortionists are a little bit weird, this guy is also very good and makes quite an incredible act.
I thought some of these things were impossible before i saw this “No-Object Manipulation”.
Enjoy

The End of the Hangar

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007

The Hangar [WEBSITE LINK] is a circus studio in East London that the Ministry of Manipulation has called home for many years. Today, June 20th, the residents of the Hangar must leave the studio to make way for the 2012 Olympic developments.
The Hangar
Ryan lived and trained in the Hangar for 3 years. Drew was a regular visitor, and much of ”Multiball Contact” was drafted during his stay in the studio during the winter of 2005. Jeanine came to visit us during the summer, and Colin and Ed became regular guests in 2006.

The Hangar is documented in the following videos.
Hangar Workshop
Hangar Workshop (promo)
Contact at the Hangar (Available via In Isolation DVD)
Ryan Practice

And of course, most famously, Hangar Fun.
To mark the occasion, enjoy this High-Quality remastered version.
Enjoy.

From all of us at the Ministry, we bid a fond farewell to this magical studio.

Back in 1986, Zhong Wei Qi won second place in the chinese national acrobatics competition with this Teapot act.

I’m still baffled as to how Teapot manipulation was entered into an acrobatics competition, but there you go. Enjoy.

Mario: Queen of the Circus

Wednesday, June 13th, 2007

On youtube - low res
The Clip above - Don’t watch it, instead go to Mario: Queen of the Circus website >> Videos and watch the clip on the left - You’ll get a higher resolution.

Mario performed the greatest street act We’ve ever seen. A triumph of art, humour, talent, technique, a plot!, audience participation and the greatest song in the world ever written about juggling.

We recommend that you don’t watch any more Mario on little web clips, We haven’t found any others that do him justice, save it till you get to see the show in real life, he performs all over the world (schedule on his site) and you’ll get some real magic.
