Intrika - Double Entendre - Contact Juggling

Monday, February 11th, 2008

This clip has been sent to us three times, first by Lawrens Godon and Dave Knox then finaly by Miss Frix herself. OK, yes, we get the hint, we should be blogging this*. Frix writes:

Our new website is online: www.intrika.net … if you know of any festivals or agents who would love to have us: pass it on!

5 gold stars and 3 brownie points :D
Dig the art nouveau site, worth a look for the promo pics.
Would love to see them perform live, Miss Frix has been one of our favourite contact jugglers for years.

State of the art graphics …in 1982
The cool kids are off in Berlin having a ball, and we’re all left wondering what’s going down there. Anyone got any news?
At least Ryan and MCP will thank me for this clip via haha.nu.
Digital snakes anyone?

Cool blend of CGI and real skills.
Its a viral for a computer game where you wiggle your thumbs around, and some pixel people to do clever things with a pretend football.
I’m not linking to it, but apparently according to the about section of the site, it allows you to “Express Yourself Like Never Before….”
Don’t believe the Hype.

Grand Central Station - Frozen

Saturday, February 2nd, 2008

After the excitement that is the finalisation of the Berlin workshop line up, I think we need to relax with a cool, light hearted prank.

From ImprovEverywhere.com, over 200 people ‘freeze’ in Grand Central Station, NY on cue. Check the reactions of everyone else. Stunning.

I do this often when I’m out and about, just on a much smaller scale (200 times smaller ;) ) and I love watching people’s reactions.

So, who wants to help me arrange a similar thing in London?
