Slackline
Thursday, December 17th, 2009A few very talented people from Humboldt, California USA doing things like 360′s, two connected back-flips, and a flip from a swing onto a line.
For those of you unfamiliar. Slacklining is done with rock climbing webbing and some sort of anchoring on the two ends. Once it is set up it is taut and has the properties of a trampoline. I started slacklining a few moths ago at my juggling club, when I got the guts to get up there by myself I found that it feels like your floating. If you have not tried I would highly recommend it. : )

Dawn – Contact juggling (bodyrolling) practice session
Monday, December 14th, 2009
Some technical and innovative rolling ideas from Dawn.
Things in the bodyrolling world are heating up! With people like Kyle, Luminous Fractal, Grateful Juggler and Dawn hanging out on www.contactjuggling.org and throwing ideas around, and with the new popularity of large balls (5inches and up.. Dawn is using an 7.5″ renegade stage ball) there is some new stuff developing which didn’t even seem possible a few years ago.
Tom Noddy-Bubble Magic
Saturday, December 12th, 2009Call this man “The Bubble Godfather”
Mr. Noddy calls it “Bubble Magic” but to me that is straightforward amazing manipulation, no slight of hand necessary.

He has been playing and performing with bubbles for about 35 years, and when you see those “bubble guys” performing in schools and such there is a good chance that they learned a thing or two from this guy. Tom has continued to be featured on television shows around the world, and he performs the same act today but with Ginseng and Jasmin cigarettes.

I met Remi at the Kata a few weeks ago. I found his juggling practice really fun to watch after a few hours of busting out curves and suffering from brain melt.
Enjoy his Juggling act and check out his great timing, clean throws, and the odd bit of contact cheekily thrown in.
I likes. Thanks Su for the Video
Obsessive Compulsive Contact Juggling Dissorder (O.C.C.J.D)
Thursday, December 10th, 2009
I would like to take a moment to recognize what a special video Dawn) made in 2006. OCCJD, or “Obsessive-compulsive-contact-juggling-disorder” has become a common diagnosis on the forums at www.contactjuggling.org and helped many of us feel better about our own inability to put our props down. ever. Pretty soon the word will be in wikipedia. There are plenty of hits on google.
Three cheers Dawn. Your ‘outdoor in the snow shots’ are especially lovely. Come join us under the M.o.M. umbrella, we made you a nice new friend and collaborator page.
Do we have any readers with occjd? I know Ed does

Clubs: Sogno o son dodo
Tuesday, December 8th, 2009
Youtube says: Video realizzato per l’artista giocoliere Edoardo demontis.
Which I believe means, Video of the Juggling Artist: Edoardo Demontis…? Aka Dodo perhaps? Well all informations are noted in a cute way at the end of the video. Which was 1-4 clubs in it, juggled, contacted, balanced and manipulated…
All with smiles and exceptional skill. And the video is absolutely beautiful. Great camera and camera work…
