Onni Toivonen – Clubbed to Death

Onni Toivonen threw out great footage of his live act today. It is a highly recommended watch. His dedication to the art of juggling is deep and full. He has a fluid manipulation style paired with highly skilled toss juggling of up to 7 clubs.

And yet, his Clubbed to Death video featured above is a little shorter and grittier. It features his clean manipulation style with funky edits and it is just so gosh darn cool!

You can contact Toivonen here

Monsieur Bleublanche

Benoit Vivian  from Cie Voila l’Enchantement has been working out of Belgium since 1998 as a dancer, a juggler, a clown with a huge list of theatrical accomplishments under his belt. This video is a one off improvisation he edited, just as a test of the Go Pro camera. He calls this character “un peu barée” which translates to a little bit silly.

Fuman Musicoloco

Fuman Musicoloco went viral on facebook earlier this month with his impressive street performance act. He is from Spain, and hand created his drum kit specifically for this piece. Although juggle drumming is not uncommon, this man’s work is original and creative, both in the street arts and in the juggling world.

Balance in Challenge Workshop 2016 – Peter Sweet and Jea9

Hello everybody,
there are a few places left! So sign up for this years expanded edition of our Balance in Challenge workshop in Berlin. 8 days of pinpointed practical ‘research’ on your Self, your arts, your ways of life.
See you there,
Jeanine

Balance in Challenge is an intensive program designed to expand your awareness, deepen your understanding of your own movement and provide you with tools for staying present under pressure.

In three one-on-one Alexander Technique lessons, we will work with you on improving your basic coordination by quieting extra tension and energizing your system towards a dynamic state of poise. In 30 hours of group classes we will explore exercises from physical theatre, clowning, martial arts, dance and juggling. Within this playground, we will observe how each of our ways of moving affects everything that we do. We will challenge you to keep breathing, stay grounded and respond to many situations with ease.

This is NOT a workshop about learning tricks, dance moves or clowning. BUT it will present you with powerful tools to develop HOW you move, dance, juggle, perform and live in the world. Come prepared to play at your own ‘edges’, the places just on the borders of your comfort zones. Ideal for actors, dancers, circus performers and anyone who is interested in the relationship between movement, health and expression. No experience required.

“It is no exaggeration to say that the insights I gained will stay with me forever, enriching my personal and professional development.” Liam Wilson Juggler/Artist
