On the front page of JTV at the moment is MoM’s very own Jea9, rocking the British Juggling Convention 2007 – higher resolution and download link available on JTV.

An Instant bodyrolling classic. The audience is about 2000 and that sounds like me cheering VERY loudly at the end of the routine. Perfect, she totally nailed the performance, so good we even clapped for the web video 2 years later!

We’ve been a bit slack on posting videos from JTV, the new releases they have been rolling out recently is golden juggling and manipulation.

Imagine my excitement this morning when I see a new release clip of a duet from two of my favorite contact jugglers up on Youtube this morning.
Jea9 and Mr. Om have been working hard over the winter in their juggling labs in Australia to put together this magical little show.

Since 2001, Jeanine has been touring across Europe, India and Australia performing contact juggling, acrobalance, juggling, acrobatic bicycle, music and dance. She works with her Solo “Balledanse” as well as with different companies (Shake Your Knees Company, Aya Contemporary Circus “NooSphere“, Lumen). Jeanine regularly teaches at Circus Schools, Camps and Juggling conventions.

Training
* 1981: born in Switzerland
* 1997-2001: sports and music college in Switzerland
* 2001-2005: professional course at ESAC (Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque) circus school in Brussels, Belgium; classes in (contact-) juggling, acrobatics, trampoline, teader board, banquine, dance, theatre, anatomy, circus history etc.
* 2001: diploma in contact juggling, object manipulation (main teachers: Philippe Vande Weghe, Stefan Sing)
* since 2001: many workshops in contemporary dance and contact improvisation (Roberto Olivan, Rasmus Olme, Ivan Wolfe, …) and juggling (Stefan Sing, Ryan (Ministry of Manipulation), Rémi Laroussinie, Viktor Kee, …)

The last official London workshop video release. Ryan has moved back to Vancouver, and The Hangar has become Hangar Arts Trust.

Ryan writes:

I cut this video together out of footage from the last workshop. Its worth watching… the beginning of the video is about the Hangar and the aerial classes that they offer, and the main section of the video is a montage of moments from the evening of awesome juggling and manipulation. The end of the video is when the real obsessive juggling with jea9, ed and colin kicks in.. and I head to bed at 2am.
